VI. Project Details:
In January 2017, our company signed a contract with the client for an EPC turnkey project covering the main furnace equipment. This project was part of the client’s large‑scale first‑phase construction plan, which involved a total of 32 industrial silicon furnaces across multiple contractors. Our scope included the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of four 33,000 kVA semi‑closed furnaces.
Despite the tight schedule and the complexity of coordinating multiple construction teams on site, our company demonstrated exceptional execution capability. By July 2017 – only six months after the contract signing – we became the first among all enterprises involved in the client’s 32‑furnace project to achieve complete delivery of our scope. All four furnaces were handed over on time, and we were also the first to commence commercial operation. This milestone set a benchmark for the entire project and significantly reduced the client’s time to market.
Once in operation, the four furnaces have performed reliably. Key production indicators, including power consumption per ton, recovery rate, and product quality, have consistently met or exceeded the design specifications. The equipment has shown stable long‑term operation with minimal unplanned downtime, contributing to a steady daily output that satisfies the client’s production targets.
The client has expressed strong satisfaction with both the quality of our furnaces and our project management. As a direct result of our outstanding performance in the first phase, our company – Hongxin– was given priority status for inclusion in the client’s subsequent Phase II construction. This preferential consideration reflects the trust we earned by delivering ahead of schedule, being first to operate, and maintaining reliable performance under challenging site conditions.
In summary, this project demonstrates our ability to handle large‑scale EPC turnkey contracts for industrial silicon furnaces, execute rapidly under competitive conditions, and build lasting customer relationships that lead to repeat opportunities. The successful completion of these four furnaces remains a flagship reference for our company in the non‑ferrous metallurgy sector.
